We have been talking again about the importance of being a good friend, how to be one and how to help others be one. Today we read The Recess Queen which was a fabulous book about standing up to a child who was bossing other children around. It also showed how to forgive them and give another chance by including them in a game.
Students then chose whether they wanted to draw or write about What Makes a Good Friend. It was interesting to see who chose what activity (about half each) and it was wonderful to see and read the responses. Here is Ella's written work and Phoebe's illustration.
