Spelling Charts
Flynn and Fletcher made a magnificent poster for the classroom, reminding us of the unusual spelling for "buy" and "guy". Hmmmmmm.....when would you use the word "buy"?
Do you know the differences between by, bye and buy?
During one of our discussions about funny spellings, we spoke about "buy" and "guy". I was going to write them up on the Word Wall but then I thought some children might like to do it during class project time. I'm so pleased that Fletcher and Flynn wanted to do it, because they did such a wonderful job! They decided to use the stencils in the Word Work trolley and worked well together.
I think at the time, you were working hard making medals for the end of year celebrations. :)
